american guardian better businessHave you ever Googled “American Guardian Warranty” before? If not, here are the results when you type that term into the world’s premier search engine. Notice anything? You shouldn’t have to scroll too far down the page before you come across some angry headlines.

“Consumer complaints,” “total ripoff” and “p***** consumer” are just a few of the terms you’ll find in the first five unsponsored results. If this is all the homework you did on AGW, you didn’t get the entire story.

Since you left Google too early last time, let’s try another term: “American Guardian Warranty BBB.” The first result is the company’s rating with the Better Business Bureau, the organization built upon creating trust between buyers and sellers. Given the first term’s results, what grade do you expect to see? D? Maybe even an F?

Take a look. If you’re surprised at our A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, you’re not alone.

The fact is, American Guardian Warranty has been a BBB Accredited business for over a decade, and in that time has faithfully served over 560,000 consumers. In all cases, we work closely with our customers to ensure their satisfaction. It is rare, but occasionally a customer will seek to take advantage of our service and then won’t be happy when the deception is uncovered.

This is where the BBB comes in. They’re independent, so they listen to both sides and look to find a solution that’s fair for everyone. So long as we abide by their decision, our rating stays high. So that’s what we do. The negativity that pops up on search engines is from a very small number of customers who likely weren’t even happy with the BBB’s decision! Plus, these few comments cover a wide range of time, with some dating as far back as far as 2004.

You have the freedom to choose, of course, which is part of what makes this country so great. So will you choose to trust the negativity from a handful of unhappy consumers, or will you trust our A+ rating from Better Business Bureau, and the huge number of satisfied customers we’ve served over the last decade? The choice is yours.
