Acworth is a northwest suburb of Atlanta, about 30 miles away from the ATL. American Guardian Warranty Headquarters may be in Chicago’s southwest suburbs, but we’re proud to reach all over the United States. We recently got some very kind words from Mike in Acworth, who was glad to have a warranty company that didn’t give him the run around. Thanks for the testimony, Mike!

“We just arrived home driving our tow car because we had to leave our motor home in Florida for repairs. The part needed is going to take a couple weeks to build by the manufacture. We wanted to thank everyone at your company for the excellent service we had this week. We were a little worried about purchasing an extended warranty because of all the complaints you see in the Motorhome magazines. We bought the warranty before our first big trip and didn’t need to use it at all.

This time however has been a different story. Over the last week, we have had to replace the alternator, repair a roof air and in the process of replacing a wiring harness that is not going to be cheap. Each time the repair companies called you for authorization, they were amazed with how good you were to deal with. All of them said that normally these warranty companies try to give them the run around just to get out of paying the claim.

My family would like to thank you for your service. Without it, this trip would have been a very expensive nightmare. We have already refferred you guys to all the people in the camp ground that came by while they were hitching up the tow truck and we plan to write into the Motorhome magazines to express our delight.

Hey Jon,

Most people usually never write about good things, only complaints.  Well, this is a good thing.  I just wanted to say that I can really see a difference in AGWS when it comes to customer service.  As you know, being an agent and dealing with car dealers can be frustrating and stressful.  So when I need some information to help the dealer, your staff has been there to help me get any questions answered. Customer service is what it is all about.  I just wanted to mention that Becky S., Lisa D., Debbie C., Cindy G., Andy W., John W. and others have really made a difference in customer service as compared to the last 10 years or so that I have been affiliated with AGWS, not that it was bad but now, this is much better!  Keep up the good work and I know 2012 and beyond will be successful.  Thanks Jon.

A Quick Chat with a Satisfied Dealer

saturn carsOur dealers are very important to us here at American Guardian Warranty. So when one of them has an issue needing resolution, we do our best to solve the problem quickly.

Dan Stock from Saturn of Golden Valley, MN recently came to us to look for help. His customer had an issue with her Compass Protection Plan. Thankfully, we were able to swiftly resolve the issue. Also, Dan’s customer was so pleased with his efforts that Dan felt compelled to leave a voice mail:

“Hi, this is Dan over at Saturn. Email just wasn’t good enough; I wanted to call and leave you an actual voice mail thanking you very much for your help on that deal. Even my boss remarked how nice it was to have people actually read your stuff and help you instead of just blowing people off and saying “That’s the way it is.” Thank you for being a class act. We also got a chance to catch up with Dan over the phone for a couple follow up questions:

American Guardian Warranty: How long have you been selling cars, and what do you like most about it?

Dan Stock: A little over 7 years, and I have plenty of fun at my job. The people are great and the job is relatively simple, and I won’t lie to you, the money isn’t terrible either.

AGW: How long has Saturn of Golden Valley been with American Guardian Warranty?

DS: At least the 7 years I’ve been here and probably more.

AGW: What does AGW do that sets them apart from other companies?

DS: Helping me with the issue I had was obviously huge. It would have been easy for American Guardian to say “Too bad, so sad.” Instead, I’m a hero in my customer’s eyes. On top of that, we weren’t her preferred service station, but we are now.
